Part 1
60–70%
of the calories you burn each day
Resting Energy Expenditure (REE)
Your REE is the energy your body uses at rest. It makes up about 60–70% of the calories you burn each day.
Your REE is measured by indirect calorimetry, the gold-standard method. This test measures the oxygen you breathe in and the carbon dioxide you breathe out to work out how many calories your body burns.
Part 2
3D
lean muscle, fat mass and body measurements
3D Body Composition Scan
Body composition is what your body is made of. This scan shows your lean muscle, your fat mass (how much of your weight is fat), and detailed body measurements.
The scan is validated against DXA, a specialized X-ray scan used to measure body composition. Your body composition helps explain your metabolic results.
Part 3
24
hours of everything you ate and drank
Dietary Review
You'll complete a 24-hour food recall: a record of everything you ate and drank over a 24-hour period. It's reviewed for:
- Your eating patterns
- Macronutrients: protein, carbohydrates, and fat
- Micronutrient needs: vitamins and minerals
